Bandar Utama Buddhist Society, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

The Bandar Utama Buddhist Society (BUBS)

BUBS was registered with the Registrar of Societies on 18 March 2000. The main objective of the Soceity are to promote the understanding, study and practice of the Buddha's Teachings and the Buddhist way of life. It holds weekly puja or worship, Dhamma talks, Dhamma classes and meditation sessions.
BUBS has received a grant of land measuring 20,000 sq ft on Jalan BU 6/5 in Bandar Utama. An estimated RM 5.5 million is needed to construct the new building. Donations for all amounts are welcome. It will be a place for practice, it will be a place for growth, it will be a place for community.
Located in the prime middle class suburbia of Bandar Utama, the Centre will be a beacon for those seeking the teachings of the Buddha. It will provide an environment that is deeply needed in our daily lives; a place for all people to come and experience the benefits of learning, contemplating and practicing the Buddha's teachings.
The Centre will be made available to the public so that all who wish to encounter the Dhamma will have the precious opportunity. BUBS wish that all who walk past its doors might experience the bliss, happiness and peace offered by the Dhamma.
